    Day

    Delhi to Leh
    • As you land to the Leh Airport, our representative will be there to assist you with your baggage and transfer you to the hotel Shanti Guest House. A home away from home, the hotel is a classic Ladakhi house that offers you all the basic amenities at affordable prices. Centrally located, the Shanti Guest House opens doors to explore markets in Leh. So you can stroll in the streets and the markets of Leh and shop as you like. You can also book a taxi and head to some sightseeing. Indulge in a sumptuous dinner on your return and spend the night in your centrally heated room at the hotel.

    Leh- Lamayuru- Alchi- Leh
    • Today we will be driving you to the famous village Alchi. Situated about 110 kilometers to the west of Leh, it is a low land village, resting on the banks of the River Indus. The Alchi village is famous as it houses one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, and its rural feel possesses a sense of homely warmth that attracts hundreds of tourists every year. Visit the Likir Monastery. With roots dating back to 1065 AD, the Likir Monastery, also known as the Likir Gompa was constructed by DuwangChosje, a Lama. The name Likir translates to “The Naga- Encircled”. The monastery preserves some of the best Indo-Tibetan Artwork along with the sacred Buddhist teachings till date and also consists of sacred shrines that add to the beauty of the place. You can also visit Lamayuru, which is again a home to the most famous and the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. The landscape here is known as the Moonland, as it resembles the lunar landscape.

      While you check in to the hotel, rest for a while and then head to the Alchi monastery, famous for its intricately detailed wall paintings. Founded by RingChenZangpo, the monastery is a reflection of Indian Buddhism. After your visit, embrace your surroundings while you drive back to Leh.

    Nubra Valley
    • The next day you will be driven to Nubra Valley, about 150 kilometers away from Leh. You will be crossing the Khardungla Pass, which is the world’s highest motorable road. Diksit, the capital of Nubra houses some of the most beautiful and peaceful monasteries in Ladakh. Visit the Diksit Monastery for some peaceful time, and then visit the Hunder Sand Dunes. The silken silver sand dunes, backed by snow-capped mountains are nothing less than a world straight out of fairytales. Enjoy a stunning sunset on the back of a Bactrian camel, and travel back in time while you explore the desert.

    Pangong
    • After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, leave for Pangong Lake. Admire the beauty of the Shayok River while you reach the highest saltwater lake in the world. Resting at 14,500 feet, the Pangong Lake attracts a lot of tourists to enjoy quietude, while fascinated by the altitude and the astonishing beauty of the lake.     Pangong to Leh
    • Wake up to a stunning sunrise at Pangong, followed by a delectable breakfast at the hotel. Get ready for a blissful drive back to Leh, and enjoy the picturesque view of the snow clad mountains and beautiful landscapes on your way back. On reaching Leh, you can indulge in some sightseeing or shopping around the local markets of the place. Spend the night at the hotel with a delicious dinner and get ready for your departure.

    Leh to Delhi
    • Wake up to the call of birds and have a sumptuous breakfast before leaving the hotel premises. Check out of the hotel early in the morning, after which you will be driven back to the airport, to continue your journey further.
